🛍 Where to Shop
If you’re looking to buy or rent outfits in London, here are a few great areas to explore — especially for traditional Tamil attire:
East Ham / Green Street (East London) – A hub for Tamil clothing stores, including silk sarees, veshtis, jewellery and accessories. You’ll find shops like Chennai Silks, Pothys, and Nalli Silks London.
Wembley (Ealing Road) – A lively area full of Tamil boutiques and fabric shops, perfect for lehengas, sherwanis, and tailoring services.
Southall (West London) – Another strong option for bridal and party wear, with plenty of stores offering saree blouses, tailoring, and jewellery.
🧵 Tip: if you’re planning to buy something new, go a few weeks early in case alterations or blouse stitching are needed.
